Job Description

POSITION : Quality Assurance Expert (HACCP)
QUALIFICATION : University degree in Fisheries, Fish Technology & QC, Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Marine science or equivalent academic background. Educational qualification may be relaxed in case of highly experienced candidate.
EXPERIENCE : At least 6 years practical experience in HACCP, Inspection and Quality assurance related works, preferably shrimp export / import. Expert must have required knowledge and practical experience on the development and application of HACCP, Quality assurance at field and plant level along the shrimp value chain. Must be aware of major international standards and requirements. Length of experience may be relaxed incase of highly qualified candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Coordinate all the HACCP & QAP related activities.
  • Development and application of HACCP based quality assurance plan.
  • Drafting of a National HACCP based QAP in collaboration with IC.
  • Production of sector relevant training manuals and materials.
  • Assist major processing industries in the development & application of a HACCP based QAP for their industrial facilities.
  • Organize and Conduct training workshop on HACCP validation & verification in collaboration with IC, NPC, & LC.
  • Assist in the preparation of sector relevant study tours.
  • Advise the counterparts on the follow-up programs and on the sustainability on their services after the project period.
  • Contribute as a resource person and monitor.
  • Submit monthly progress report to CTA through NPC.
