Organisation of BQSP
BQSP is implemented by two UN agencies, the United Nations Industrial Developmnent Organisation (UNIDO), and the International Trade Centre (ITC), in cooperation with the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh (GOB). UNIDO cooperates with four ministries [Ministry of Industry (MOI), Ministry of Textiles and Jute (MOT&J), Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock (MOF&L), and Ministry of Commerce (MOC)] in different programme activity areas; ITC cooperates with the Ministry of Commerce.
Government agencies associated with the programme include the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI), the Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB), the National Institute of Textile Training, Research and Design (NITTRAD), the Department of Fisheries (DoF) and the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).
